Having a dog is one of the most rewarding experiences in life. They bring so much joy and change the way we see the world.
No matter how much time we spend with them, they always find new ways to surprise us. They love being with us, savoring every moment by our side.
For most dogs, sticking close to their humans is their favorite thing to do. Some take it a step further—following their owners around the house, never wanting to be apart.
But for Kevin, things were a little different. His dog didn’t just follow him around the house—he followed him everywhere. And for a very good reason.
Meet Bowie, the Uber Dog

There’s no denying it—Bowie has become a bit of a celebrity in Colorado. He spends his days riding around town with his owner, Kevin.
On these rides, Bowie meets tons of people, and they’re always excited to see him. He loves the attention, so it works out perfectly.
Some people even call him an “Uber dog,” and honestly, the name fits. It all started when Kevin was working long shifts as an Uber driver.
After adopting Bowie from a rescue in New Mexico, Kevin quickly realized the pup had severe separation anxiety. Being apart was difficult for him.

To help Bowie feel more at ease, Kevin decided to bring him along for the ride. And it worked wonders.
Bowie turned out to be the perfect passenger. He never caused any trouble, and every single person who met him fell in love instantly.
As Kevin continued driving around Colorado, he started recording people’s reactions to Bowie. He shared the videos on social media, and before long, people couldn’t get enough of this special pup.
Bowie Wins the Internet

It didn’t take long for Bowie to become an internet sensation. People couldn’t stop gushing over this lovable Uber dog.
One person commented on a video:
“The way the dog flings his head back when they open the door like, right, who we got next.”
It’s safe to say Bowie knows exactly what he’s doing. His job? Look adorable and melt hearts. And he’s nailing it.
Another person suggested:
“There should be an Uber service that takes random shelter dogs on the ride. Post them and share in hopes of getting them adopted! Gives them a chance to show their personality and a day out of the cage!”

It’s a brilliant idea, and I’d love to see something like this happen in the future. There are so many dogs in need of homes—this could be a fun way to help them.
Someone else joked:
“The tips have to be way better after this ride than the normal ones.”
Honestly? They’re probably right. I’d like to think all of those tips go straight toward Bowie’s well-deserved treats.
It’s heartwarming to see how many people appreciate Bowie and the joy he brings. Even Kevin mentioned in one of his videos that he has yet to meet a single person who doesn’t like dogs.
Dogs have an incredible way of bringing people together. Bowie is living proof of that.
