She Went To Check Her Parents’ House—And Found A Puppy Curled Up, Hoping To Be Saved

For puppies left to survive on the streets, life is painfully hard. These little ones should be snuggled in a warm bed—not dodging danger and searching for scraps of food.

Mystic was one of them.

Injured, tired, and alone, she wandered a quiet California neighborhood. Then, one day, she spotted a house and quietly made her way into the yard.

With nowhere else to go, she curled up in the corner, hoping someone would find her.

A Tiny Soul In Need

Jaymee Cisneros came by to check on her parents’ house while they were away.

She wasn’t expecting to find a tiny pup crouched in the yard, staring up at her with big, sad eyes.

At first, Mystic seemed nervous. But then she wagged her tail—a small sign of trust.

Jaymee gently picked her up and saw the pup had an injury.

She reached out to her friends at Tanya’s Adoption Network 4 Young Animals, and they agreed to take Mystic in.

While waiting, Jaymee bathed the pup and wrapped her in a warm towel.

Mystic melted into her arms, soaking up the comfort she’d longed for.

She ate, napped, and snuggled close. The bond between them formed quickly.

When the rescue team came, Jaymee let her go—but not without a piece of her heart.

“As soon as the rescue left with her, I felt like I was missing something,” Jaymee told The Dodo. “I ended up reaching out… and let them know if she didn’t have a family, we would gladly take her in.”

A Home Full Of Love

Mystic was given the medical care she needed and made a full recovery.

With no chip and no one searching for her, Jaymee and her family gave her what she’d never had before—a forever home.

Mystic’s face lit up with joy. She was finally safe, finally loved.

No more hunger. No more cold.

Only warmth, cuddles, and the comfort of being truly wanted.

No dog should ever have to survive on their own.

If you see a stray, show them kindness and help them find safety. It could change their life forever—just like it did for Mystic.
