Editorial Standards

Our readers trust us with a few minutes of their day. These are the promises we keep in return.

Real dogs, real rescues

Every story on PupWeekly is about a real dog and a real rescue that was shared publicly by the shelter, rescue group or people involved. We don’t publish made-up dogs or made-up rescues.

Gentle on the hard parts

Many of these dogs went through something terrible before they were saved. We tell that part honestly but without graphic detail, and we don’t show photos of open wounds or suffering.

Corrections and removals

If something in a story is wrong, or you are the rescuer or photographer and want a credit, a change or a story removed, write to contact@pupweekly.com and we’ll fix it.

Ads

PupWeekly is free to read and paid for by ads. Advertisers have no say in which stories we tell or how we tell them.
